MCE college constitutes a women empowerment cell and anti-ragging committee to create awareness among the students to assert their rights and to educate them about women empowerment. We conduct orientation programs for the newly admitted students for various courses and gender sensitization was one of the agendas to be included in the program to educate the students on these issues when they enter the campus to pursue their degrees in different streams. The student council of the college has branch and class representatives, one boy and one girl from each branch. The governing committee includes male and female staff as members. Every year International Women’s Day was celebrated in a grand manner to motivate the girl students and the women faculty members. Every year, "Best outgoing student of the year” is awarded to one boy and one girl on graduation day. Separate slots were provided for girl students to use the facilities like Gym, indoor games and swimming pool.
