The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) is the youngest branch of MCE established in 2022. The department has fostered excellence in undergraduate education while advancing research that pushes the boundaries of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. It focuses on teaching and research on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Big Data and Natural Language Processing.

To be a Center of Excellence for innovative teaching, learning and research to produce socially responsible professionals in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to address real-world problems.
