A three-day program on FEEL EMPLOYABLE will be done with the assistance of CLHRD of Mangalore to enhance the soft skills. TPO has a question bank, where the previous years’ aptitude questions from various companies, puzzles asked during the interviews are included. Students are advised to make use of this question bank and prepare meticulously for the placements.

The laboratory is used for many competitive exams on Sundays and Saturdays on rental basis so that good revenue is also generated for the institute.

Placement office organizes “Best project of the year” every year. Jury members from industries and other reputed institutions will be invited for judging. At the end of eighth semester, the program is organized across the branches for the nominated projects. Students of the winning team from each branch and the project guide will be rewarded suitably with cash prize and a certificate.

Students are promoted to attend placement drives at other colleges (pool campus) and the ones organized through VTU. This has created more number of opportunities for the students to get placed.

Since 2018, placement awareness talk will be delivered by the TPO during induction program for newly admitted students. Here the various avenues after the graduation, placements, higher studies, and competitive exams like GRE, TOEFL, IELTS etc are highlighted. This may be very effective to increase the number of placements as the students put little bit efforts from the first year itself and by the time they come to final year, they will be industry ready.
