1.	2022-2023	Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with Teragon EdTech Pvt Ltd organised two days Hands on Training Program on Python Programming during 3rd and 4th of February 2023. Around 80 students from the third semester of mechanical engineering department were benefited by this program.
2.	2022-2023	A.H Sagar delivered a Technical talk on “Need for Ingenious Perspectives, Deep Learning, Social Network Analysis, Ethics as well as Other Vital Skills to Reinvigorate the Royalty in the 21st Century Mechanical Engineering’. This event was hels on 9th January 2023 at Alumni Hall.
3.	2021-2022	Technical talk on “Recent developments in industrial and process automation” was organized in association with ‘The Institution of Engineers (India), Mysore Local Center on 16th June 2022 in the Mechanical Engineering Department Seminar Hall. Venugopal R, Director of VENJAY Automation, Bangalore delivered the technical talk and interacted with students.
4.	2020-2021	Four weeks Internship on ‘Industrial Automation’ was offered for sixth semester students of Department of Mechanical Engineering from MCE-Bosch Rexroth Regional Centre of Competency in Automation Technologies (MBRRCCAT).

1.	2022-2023	Department of Mechanical Engineering, Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan signed MoU with Teragon EdTech Private Limited, Hassan on 17th January 2023. The purpose of MOU is for training the students of Mechanical Engineering with programming skills like Python, C , Java Full stack and assist students in Placements.

1.	2022-2023	National Youth Day was organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering on 12th January 2023. District President of Kannada Sahitya Parishath Dr.L.Mallesh Gowda addressed the gathering and spoke about the life and thoughts of Swami Vivekananda. Principal Dr.S.Pradeep, Head of the Department Dr.L.Laxmana Naik, faculty and students were present during this occasion. Prizes were distributed to students who won in various events conducted as part of National Youth Day.
2.	2022-2023	Four weeks Internship on ‘Industrial Automation’ was offered for sixth semester students of Department of Mechanical Engineering from MCE-Bosch Rexroth Regional Centre of Competency in Automation Technologies (MBRRCCAT). This was held from 22-08-2022 to 21-09-2022.

1.	2022-2023	Mechanical Engineering Students of final year who got placed in reputed companies were felicitated in a function held on May 27, 2023 at Mechanical Engineering Department Seminar Hall. Principal Dr.S.Pradeep, Head of the Department Dr.Ezhil Vannan, Dr.L.Laxmana Naik, S.L.Dinesh, faculty and students were present during this occasion.
2.	2021-2022	Intra departmental sports event ‘Royal Mech War’ was organized by a team of students consisting of branch and class representatives. This was held on May 7th and 8th, 2022. Head of the department Dr. L. Laxmana Naik inaugurated the programme. Students of our department participated in various team events and individual events. Prizes were distributed to winners.
