The purpose of the MOU was to train the department's faculty members, then train the students through the trained faculty members, and finally assist the students with internships and placements. • The Department of Mechanical Engineering and BETA CAE Systems organized a "Train the Trainers" program from December 26th, 2023 to January 31st, 2024. 07 faculty members were successfully trained on ANSA tools. • The Department of Mechanical Engineering, in collaboration with BETA CAE Systems, offers a 16-week internship program to department students. Title : MoU with IIMB through MIJSC (Mizuo India Japan Study Centre) Description : • On May 27, 2024, the Department signed an MOU with IIMB and MIJSC to establish a centre of excellence in lean manufacturing. • The MIJSC will conduct the lean manufacturing practice to the faculty on 03 phases. In phase-1 they will train the faculty, phase-2 the trained faculty will train the students and phase-3 the faculty will be trained again to become industry consultants. • Around 05 faculty members in the department have deputed for the programme.
