Description : • On August 9, 2023, the department signed an MOU with BETA CAE Systems India Pvt Ltd. The purpose of the MOU was to train the department's faculty members, then train the students through the trained faculty members, and finally assist the students with internships and placements. • The Department of Mechanical Engineering and BETA CAE Systems organized a "Train the Trainers" program from December 26th, 2023 to January 31st, 2024. 07 faculty members were successfully trained on ANSA tools. • The Department of Mechanical Engineering, in collaboration with BETA CAE Systems, offers a 16-week internship program to department students. Approximately 45 students are currently enrolled in the internship training programme.

Title : MoU with IIMB through MIJSC (Mizuo India Japan Study Centre)

Description : • On May 27, 2024, the Department signed an MOU with IIMB and MIJSC to establish a centre of excellence in lean manufacturing. • The MIJSC will conduct the lean manufacturing practice to the faculty on 03 phases. In phase-1 they will train the faculty, phase-2 the trained faculty will train the students and phase-3 the faculty will be trained again to become industry consultants. • Around 05 faculty members in the department have deputed for the programme. All 05 faculty have successfully completed phase-1 programme and undergoing phase-2 currently. • They are implementing the lean practices in the department and proposed to start open elective course on “Lean Manufacturing”
