| 2. | 2025-2026 | The IEEE Membership Drive & Technical Talk 2025 was organized on 22nd May 2025 by the IEEE MCE Student Branch in collaboration with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan. | 3. | 2025-2026 | The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at Malnad College of Engineering (MCE), Hassan, organized a significant academic and technical event—the IEEE-PELS Alumni Talk & Tech Expo 2025—on 2nd December 2025 at the Department Seminar Hall. This event was planned as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to promote technical leadership, innovation, and interaction between present students and distinguished alumni who have made substantial contributions to engineering, research, and industrial development. | 4. | 2024-2025 | Energy Conservation Day was Celebrated in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering on 13th to 16th December 2024. On account of the event, Four events: Drawing, Prototype presentation, Logo design, Quiz competitions were organized. A formal function was held in the EEE Seminar Hall, MCE. | 4. | 2021-2022 | Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering organized an Industrial visit to Gerusoppa Power House, Sharavathi valley Power Project, Shimoga from 02/07/2022 to 03/07/2022. The students were from seventh semester 2018-22 batch familiarized themselves with the operation of Alternators, turbine-generator arrangement, Automatic generation control and SCADA and gain the practical knowledge on the operation of a hydro power plant.

Track races, chess, and table tennis added an exciting twist, highlighting the diverse talents of the participants.
