Exciting News! Seven Patents Successfully Filed

We are proud to share that seven patents have been successfully filed through the collaborative efforts of 28 talented students at Malnad College of Engineering, under the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

This achievement was made possible under the guidance of Dr. Gowri Shankar M (Project Coordinator) and Dr. Rajanna S (HoD, Electrical and Electronics Engineering). A heartfelt thank you to both for their invaluable support and leadership.

Mini Project Expo (SRUSTI 1.0) Successfully Completed on 27th July 2024

We are delighted to share the success of our Mini Project Expo, held on July 27, 2024, at Malnad College of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The event was a fantastic showcase of innovation, creativity, and technical prowess.

  • 33 Projects Presented: Showcasing a diverse range of simulations and hardware projects.
  • Participation Certificates: Awarded to all participants.
  • Best Project Award: Congratulations to the winner of the cash prize for the most outstanding project.
  • Innovation Recognition: Seven exceptional projects have been successfully filed for Indian patents!

A big thank you to the Management, Principal, HoD, Faculties, Students, and Juries for their invaluable support and guidance. Your participation and support made this event a grand success.

Celebrating Energy Conservation Day

Dear Students.

We are celebrating Energy Conservation Day on 14th December. On occasion of that, our department is organizing a design thinking prototype developing competition for energy conservation. this competition is open only for 3rd and 5th Semester students of EEE branch.

Interested students can make a group (4 students maximum in a group) and propose an Idea along with prototype model. The models along with an A3 size poster (explaning the model through flow chart/painting/written explanation etc.) is to be presented on 12th December infront of jury members for evaluation. The theme of competition is restricted to Energy Conservation only.

A google form will be floated on 7th December for registration.
