The department has all the required laboratories in separate area with adequate facilities and equipment to run the program specific curriculum. 

The basic laboratories of the department have been developed during 1960, at the inception of the college. The space provided for the laboratory has been very large making for excellent ambience with adequate lighting and ventilation. In fact the machine lab developed here has been one of the very large laboratories among the contemporary colleges. 

Laboratories have been subjected to modernization on a continuous basis to cope up with the modern state of the art curriculum. In addition, new laboratories such as Control system, Power system simulation, Power electronics, Microcontroller, etc. have been established as demanded by the curriculum updation. Separate facility is established for meeting the curriculum requirements of High voltage engineering and testing.
