About Department of Information Science and Engineering

  Established in 2000, the department initially offered a B.E. Degree program with an annual intake of 40 students. Over the years, this intake grew to 60 in 2018 and further expanded to 180 by 2024. Additionally, in 2023, an M.Tech program in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science was introduced with an annual intake of 18 students. The department boasts experienced faculty who actively participate in workshops and training programs to stay updated with emerging technologies.

Equipped with Computer Centers that cater to program requirements, the department also provides Internet and Wi-Fi access. Its in-house library contains over 1369 volumes. As part of the ISE Association (ISEA), the department conducts regular technical lectures and personality development programs. Students engage in various competitions, securing prizes both within the institution and at other colleges.

The department maintains a strong placement record with reputable organizations, and its alumni pursue higher studies both nationally and internationally. Bi-annually, the department publishes the "ISEAN" newsletter, featuring contributions from students and faculty on technical and non-technical topics, including a crossword section aimed at enhancing students' technical skills. Committed to the disciplined and holistic development of its students, the department continues its endeavors in this direction.
